liner notes:
Professional : Normal meeting filled Thursday. I finished up my review of an OpenAPI spec for a new product. Worked a little on my blog post, but hit a writer's block and decided to continue a project that I started this week for a possible workshop I have coming up next month. It's using a new AI Agent framework and the getting started instructions said to copy this prompt into your AI coding agent to get started. That's when I knew things could go wrong. haha. I ran it earlier this week as a test run and the code is different from the project that I created today using the same exact prompt. The funniest thing is that neither of the projects had the same code that is in the documentation. Instead of going through all the prompts that the AI kept popping up because it kept running into issues and needed my permission to try and fix it, an npm install script and coping and pasting some sample code, I could have been finished a lot sooner. Going through the docs, I wanted to see if I could use the company's AI agent to scaffold out the demo I was thinking about putting together since it has access to all our documentation. After a little while, it popped out something that looks pretty good. I'm going to see if I can integrate it into a previous project that I have running.
Personal : Last night, I started putting together the social media posts for the Bandcamp projects I'm picking up this week. I also did a bunch of research on sublimation printing and it turns out that the one printer I bought last year and didn't even open can be converted. I don't remember if I bought it because of that, but it can save me a bunch of money. From the videos I watched, I just need to put in the sublimation ink and print on sublimation paper with a specific color profile. Fingers crossed that it's really that straight forward. I'll still use the DTF printer for non-polyester and dark fabric.
Speaking of the DTF printer, apparently you have to print with it everyday and since the snake encounter, I have not really been in the shed that long all week. Since the shelves I ordered came into today, during lunch I moved the box to the shed and since I was there, I printed the designs I made on the DTF printer and also run a test print on the UV printer since I haven't done that in a while. The DTF prints came out pretty good. The UV printer was not printing the colors correctly, but after a few nozzle cleanings, it started to print properly thankfully. While all that was happening, I finished the social media posts for the Bandcamp projects. Good news is that I didn't see the snake (I wasn't looking for it, haha) but I did hear some stuff, but that could be my imagination. haha. My plan is to buy the Bandcamp projects and start to put together the playlist for the radio show this week. Before going to bed, I think I'm going to see if I can get this demo for work running. I have a meeting tomorrow that could be cool to show.
Have a great night!
peace piece
