Day 1406 : Feel It

liner notes:

  • Professional : Only had one meeting today. Spent the day putting together the workshop that I have coming up. I already got a working proof of concept. Now I just need to set up the actual workshop with the steps and the starter files. I spent the day going through and creating the project that will be used to generate the actual workshop. I'm using another sample application I created as a base to build this application. This way, I don't need to start from scratch. You know what? Now that I'm thinking about it, I may not need the external repo because the workshop has it own framework and server. I did recently modify the framework I made to create the workshop to be able to serve its own project. I'll explore that tomorrow.

  • Personal : Last night, I picked the Bandcamp projects that I'll be buying this week. Also gave some thought on possible ways around the new issues that popped up with the modifications I made to some items for this project.

A dramatic, high-angle panoramic photograph captures a breathtaking sunset over a deep, sprawling canyon system. On the left, a massive, sheer vertical sandstone cliff face with layered, blocky rock formations is bathed in a warm, intense orange and crimson light from the setting sun. Far below in the canyon floor, a winding river snake-like through the rugged terrain, reflecting the sky's light. In the background, endless layers of canyon walls and plateaus stretch toward the horizon, fading into soft, warm shadows under a bright, glowing sky where the sun breaks along the upper rim. The setting is Toroweap, AZ, USA.

Okay. Going to make the call. I'm just going to raise the box that the items come in a little bit more. If I extend the bottom some more, that should cause the cover to be wider. I've done it before, a little more isn't going to hurt. haha. Also, I'm going to just make the item that requires a battery, just slide the battery into a slot and the item will turn on. To turn it off, just take out the battery. The battery will stick out of the top a little so that it will be easier to grab. Plus, I'll be able to use a larger coin battery so that it will last longer. I've never seen anything like this before so for the first run, I think it'll be fine. I can always modify it in later runs. I just need to get this project done because it is taking a lot longer than I anticipated. Although it is a self imposed deadline and the other folks haven't pressured me, I'm starting to feel it. haha Going to go eat dinner and get to work.

Have a great night!

peace piece
