Yes, that is a really good point! It is easy to forget, or conveniently "forget" it there is no proof of the existence of something that was promised.

I appreciate the write up! As I myself have grown in my career I find myself being responsible for conducting interviews and evaluating potential prospects to hire. I find it important to hear different perspectives and understand what others see.

I think exposure to different points of view is critical to reducing biases. And this is not simply men hearing women, but of all types of people with different background. Especially if the background is not, for lack of a better term, "common" because humans have a tendency to be uncomfortable with the unfamiliar.

just like the one, standing next to people chatting about a problem, that I could solve quickly, but was ignored. It happens. There were not diff Gender or Race or religion so I cannot blame on anything like that here, except human nature. I think this is good exercise to show us about our self-love, selfish, lack of love...
