Hiring: AR/AI Software Engineers (Frontend & Backend) – Remote or Lebanon-Based – Submillimeter Precision Project

  • Project Overview We are developing a cross-platform AR application designed for the dental and surgical sectors, capable of submillimeter-accurate 3D overlays on real-world anatomy and objects. The app integrates AI-driven segmentation, real-time tracking, and high-precision pose estimation for medical components (e.g., brackets, retainers, implants). We’re assembling a small elite engineering team to bring this to life.

  2. Frontend Engineer (AR/3D Focus) Key Responsibilities:
  3. Build a responsive AR interface for mobile (ARKit, ARCore, WebXR)
  4. Integrate real-time 3D overlays using Three.js, Unity, or similar
  5. Implement real-time camera calibration & distortion correction
  6. Ensure overlays are stable, accurate, and submillimeter precise
  7. Work closely with AI and backend engineers for pose data rendering

  8. Must-Have Skills:

  9. Proven experience in real-time AR applications (mobile or web)

  10. Strong in Three.js, WebGL, Unity3D, or React Three Fiber

  11. Knowledge of marker-based and markerless SLAM

  12. Understanding of camera calibration, tracking pipelines

  13. Experience with real-world scale mapping and precision testing

  14. Familiarity with WebXR, ARKit, ARCore

  15. Bonus:

  16. Prior work in AR, robotics, or industrial AR

  17. Experience in depth sensors, LiDAR, or custom tracking SDKs

  18. 🔶 Backend/AI Engineer (Pose Estimation + Data Pipelines)
    a-Key Responsibilities:

  19. Develop AI models for 3D model segmentation and pose estimation

  20. Create real-time backends for model-data sync (Node.js / Python)

  21. Integrate TensorFlow, ONNX, or PyTorch into the application

  22. Manage APIs to supply tracking corrections to the frontend

  23. Optimize for latency, performance, and model-light deployment on edge devices

  24. Must-Have Skills:

  25. Strong experience in computer vision and pose estimation

  26. Experience with OpenCV, MediaPipe, or custom CV pipelines

  27. Knowledge of model compression for mobile deployment (TFLite, ONNX)

  28. Backend development experience in Python, FastAPI, or Node.js

  29. Solid understanding of 3D file formats: STL, OBJ, GLTF

Bonus:

  • Prior experience working on dental, medical, or robotic vision systems
  • Experience creating synthetic datasets or training CV models for <1 mm accuracy
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Firebase for backend scaling
