As a .NET Developer, I don't need a Mac, however, .NET applications can run on Mac via .NET Core product, but I don't like it, I prefer Windows 10, because:
Windows price not high
Minimum requirements are good, can run on nearly all machines
Easy, no command line experience needed for normal users. Regarding to developers, command-line support exist using Powershell and Command Prompt
All programming languages have editors and tools run on Windows (except iOS development which will need a real device to run on)
Great community support for hardware and software , You can do the maintenance on you own, and if you sent the computer to a maintenance center, the fixing cost is not high.
