I don't use vsCode. I use neovim.
I recommend and use the gruvbox theme. Because it is so good for eye.
That is quite interesting. I had to check out neovim and I was impressed with what I found.
I think every one should learn vim. It has increased my typing speed at least 200%. Even though if you use vscode, you can still use vim with any extension.

Light theme - Github Light
I generally prefer themes with sharp colours, as opposed to the ones that look very washed out, as long as their contrast isn't too strong.
That is quite a cool preference.
Community Material Theme - Palenight, litreally the best theme ever!
Paired with Fluent Icons and material theme icons, you have got the best looking VSCode ever!
