People are rightly cautious about downloading a program from “somewhere on the internet.” That is why the installers for my programs live on the well-known platform GitHub. Here is why that is reliable.
What GitHub is
GitHub is a large global platform where developers keep the code of their programs and publish ready-to-use versions for download. It is the industry standard.
Why I host the files there
Openness. The file is not on some random site, but on a well-known platform.
Version history. You can see when each version came out and what changed.
Always the latest version. You download the newest release, not an outdated file.
It is safe
The download comes from GitHub itself over a secure connection. You can also check that the files are clean on the Security page — it has the VirusTotal reports.
How to download the latest version
Open the page of the program you need on my site.
Press the download button — it leads to the Releases section on GitHub.
Download the file from the latest release and run it.
