What is Domux?

iFlytekOpenSource/Domux is an open smart-home command-understanding model (Gemma-based) that turns a natural-language request into structured intent + slots — handling multi-device, multi-room, multi-action instructions with omitted context. It ships weights, a 4,057-example evaluation set, and a Quick Start for vLLM / SGLang structured output.

The challenge

Run Domux for real — inference, evaluation, quantization, training, or integration — and write it up as a reproducible case. Publish the full run (inputs, raw outputs, environment, screenshots/logs) to the Domux Hugging Face Discussions, then submit it via PR into iflytek/domux cases/.

How to submit

  1. Accept the Gemma Terms of Use on the model page; log in with the official hf CLI.
  2. hf download iFlytekOpenSource/Domux --revision <commit-sha> — pin a fixed revision for reproducibility.
  3. Run a real experiment; keep public, redacted logs / inputs / raw outputs / environment / screenshots.
  4. Open a public post in Domux HF Discussions, titled [HER Hack-Astron #4] <case name>.
  5. Fork iflytek/domux, copy cases/TEMPLATE to cases/<case-id>, fill every field; channels must be the Discussion link only.
  6. Open a PR titled [case] <case-id> - <one-line result>; write Ref #20 in the description (not Closes — one case must not close the whole event).

Hard rules: the only valid publish channel is Domux HF Discussions; GitHub PRs must not include weight files (safetensors/GGUF/PT/CKPT); report honest metrics (sample size, method, warm-up, environment) and include failures, limits, and safety boundaries.

Eligibility

For teams, we encourage women contributors to be ≥ 50% of the actual commits and Co-authored-by records. Judging weighs real-usage evidence, reproducibility, smart-home value & innovation, metrics/failure-analysis/safety awareness, and how much the Discussion helps the next user.
