The Neuro-AMR’s average computational time was consistently 40% lower, with an error rate within 5% of the DNS data and standard deviation of < 1% across runs, quantifying reproducibility.

These weights – which determine the relative importance of error reduction, accuracy improvement, computational speed, stability, and scalability – are learned using RL and Bayesian Optimization, allowing the system to adaptively prioritize different performance goals based on the specific application and conditions.

Technical Contribution: Previous literature on AMR control often focuses on either rule-based approaches or single optimization techniques. Our work represents a paradigm shift by combining RL and Bayesian Optimization in a closed-loop feedback system, with the added benefit of flexible weight tuning for diverse application scenarios.
