Microsoft Pushed Copilot Everywhere, but Most Users Still Aren’t Using It

Microsoft has made Copilot available across Windows, Microsoft 365, Edge, and several other products to bring AI into everyday work. However, despite its wide availability, many users have not made it a regular part of their daily routine.

Although millions of businesses have purchased Copilot licenses, only a small number of employees actively use the AI assistant. In response, Microsoft has started giving users more flexibility by allowing some Copilot features to be hidden based on individual or business preferences.

At the same time, some Microsoft 365 plans now include Copilot, leading to higher subscription costs.

This suggests that simply adding AI to more products isn't enough. In the end, Copilot's success will depend on how valuable it proves to be in real-world work.
