Hello DEV.to! I'm Ganesh Dhibar — Here's What I'll Be Writing About

👋 Hello DEV Community — I'm Ganesh Dhibar

Hey everyone! I'm excited to finally be here on DEV.to.

My name is Ganesh Dhibar — a web developer, Linux enthusiast, and tech educator from India. I've been building things on the web and tinkering with servers for years, and I recently decided to start sharing everything I know — openly, practically, and without the fluff.

What I work with

Here's my everyday stack and the topics I'll be writing about regularly:

  • Web Development — PHP, Java, HTML/CSS, building things from scratch
  • Linux & Servers — Ubuntu, server setup, terminal workflows, self-hosting
  • DevOps & Web Hosting — deployments, VPS management, cloud services
  • Windows — tips, tools, and productivity for Windows developers
  • AI Tools — practical use of AI in development workflows, coding assistants, automation
  • Cloud Services — hosting, scaling, and managing cloud infrastructure

Why I'm here on DEV.to

YouTube is where I post hands-on tutorials — but video has limits. Some things are better explained in writing:

  • Step-by-step command references you can copy-paste
  • Deep dives that would make a video too long
  • Quick tips and tools worth sharing
  • Written versions of my YouTube tutorials so you can follow along

So this is where the writing lives. YouTube is where the videos live. Both together make the learning complete.

My YouTube channel

If you're a visual learner, I post practical tech tutorials every week on YouTube.

📺 Watch on YouTube → youtube.com/@ganesh.dhibar

Topics on the channel mirror what I'll write here — web dev, Linux, DevOps, AI tools, cloud, and Windows. Subscribe if any of that sounds useful to you.

What's coming next

Here's a preview of posts I'm planning:

  • How to set up a VPS from scratch on Ubuntu (beginner to production-ready)
  • Top AI tools I actually use as a developer in 2026
  • PHP + Linux deployment workflow — no framework needed
  • Self-hosting your own apps on a cheap cloud server
  • Linux commands every web developer should know

Let's connect

I'm just getting started here, so if you're working on similar things — web dev, Linux, servers, AI tools — drop a comment, follow along, or just say hi.

Happy to connect, collaborate, and learn from this community too.

See you in the next post. 🚀
