Hi everyone. I'm a software engineer with over 30 years' experience, mostly back-end but also some UI. My core strength is Java but, in a way, that makes it considerably harder to learn React as I now turn my attention to the UI side of my current project, especially as I haven't had opportunity to keep pace with advances in JS, a language that seems to need a different mindset from Java. I hope you won't mind some really dumb questions as I learn the ropes but I'll try to keep my enquiries clear, concise, supported and hopefully answerable!
