As a person who is not the most tech savvy, my first impression of Appwrite is that it will be quite easy to learn. Dare I even say, beginner friendly? This October I decided, with some persuasion, to attend a virtual hackathon. Due to a compulsion to complete challenges and obtain achievements, I have learned more in the last week about programming than I have in months of classes.
The initial setting up of my project was very simple. Appwrite seems to guide you through the process, which is very much appreciated. I do love the layout of the website. Everything appears to be clearly laid out and labeled, adding ease to a process that many find overwhelming. There is a "details" button at the bottom every page that redirects you to a page with further instructions, which is nice. On a completely aesthetic node, the site is cool looking. On dark mode the background is black with bright orange and pink accents. The font is thick and white for ease of readability.
Again, not having much experience, I believe that this is a space that all levels of developers will find appealing. People with more experience may think its a great time saver and those will less experience will call it a life saver.
