Boot after installing POP OS

Hi there, I installed POP OS as my main OS. I decided to try another OS by Live-Stick, but now the booting is blocked and I always get a message concerning description. I unlock the discripted partition by inserting password and then POP OS starts. USB sticks are recognized in BIOS, but I cannot boot it.

Does anyone know what I have to do to boot a live-stick ?

Pop!_OS uses systemd and full-disk encryption.

To boot a live stick:

  1. Shut down completely
  2. Power on and open the firmware boot menu (usually F12/ F10/Esc)
  3. Select UEFI:

Make sure:

  1. USB was created as UEFI
  2. Secure Boot = OFF
  3. Fast Boot = OFF
  4. Legacy/CSM = OFF

Hopefully this helps, as I used an Arch-based system myself.

Thank you for your answer. My BIOS only allowed me to disable Secure Boot, which was already disabled. So I changed all settings I found without any results. Finally I restored BIOS to standard settings, and totally unexpected I suddenly suceeded in booting MINT from USB. This allowed me to delete encrypted partition with GPART. I really do not know what I did at all, but it works now.

Best regards
