Reports suggest GTA 6 will arrive on PC in Q1 2027, following a late 2026 console release.
As reported by the GamesBeat website, citing its sources, the game may be released on PCs in the first quarter of 2027. Its arrival on PCs is thus expected a few months after its scheduled release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, which is set for November 19, 2026.
Shorter wait than in the past
This wait time is significantly shorter than what happened with the previous game in the series. Grand Theft Auto 5 was originally released on consoles in September 2013, but PC users had to wait until April 2015 to play it.
The schedule for the first quarter of 2027 already includes titles such as Stranger Than Heaven, Metroid Ravenous, Until Dawn 2, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, God of War Laufey, and Fable.
What we know about the online operation
It's still unknown exactly when the game's online mode will launch, but Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has said that the online mode will happen next year.
Rockstar recently added a role-playing option for Grand Theft Auto 5 to its PC launcher, following the acquisition of FiveM.
