Meta has announced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, new AI models featuring frontier capabilities that outperform leading competitor systems on specialized benchmarks for software building and legal document analysis.
The models include active memory and focus mechanisms for complex tasks and will be available via APIs.
According to the company, Muse Wonder Full has leading capabilities that rank it among the most powerful systems in the world. This development comes after Mark Zuckerberg's decision last year to reorganize the company's artificial intelligence departments, creating Meta Superintelligence Labs and hiring Alexander Wang.
The new models will be offered through dedicated software connection tools, Muse Code, and Meta's personal assistant features.
Performance and capabilities
The data shows that Muse Wonder outperforms Anthropic’s Claude Fable 5.1 and comes close to Claude Opus 5.5 in the relevant evaluation index. At the same time, the model outperforms OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra and other leading systems in specialized tests related to legal documents and software creation.
To help digital programs avoid making mistakes in complex tasks, the new systems include two additional features, Active Memory and Active Focus.
Safety and traffic delays
Meta trained Muse Wonder to refuse to produce dangerous content, such as recipes for dangerous materials or instructions for illegal actions.
Mark Zuckerberg said last month that the release of the Muse models had been delayed to allow time for security issues.
