Mintive raises $11 million to audit AI programs

Mintive has raised $11 million in total funding to build identity, permission, and cloud control infrastructure for enterprise AI agents.

Founded by former Google Brain and TensorFlow contributors, the platform monitors agent activity and cloud service access for around 50 corporate clients.

What does Mintive do?

Large businesses are increasingly using automated programs, known as “artificial intelligence agents,” to perform tasks. As the number of these programs grows, companies are finding it difficult to keep track of exactly what they’re doing, what information they’re accessing, and how much they’re costing.

Mintive's platform acts as a central control system. It allows businesses to set rules for which services these "agents" can use, restrict their access, and monitor their overall activity and the costs they incur.

The team behind the company

Mintive was founded by Jiquan Ngiam and Vijay Vasudevan, who have significant experience in the field. Jiquan Ngiam was the first employee of the educational platform Coursera and had worked on Google Brain, while Vijay Vasudevan participated in the design of TensorFlow, a widely known artificial intelligence tool.

Who uses the service?

Mintive launched its product in February 2026 and has already attracted around 50 corporate customers. The list includes, among others, Ro, Modern Treasury, the University of Michigan, Coursera, Apax, and Stability AI.
