AI startup Town has raised a $108 million Series B round, bringing its total funding to at least $160 million and achieving a unicorn valuation.
Founded by former Plaid CTO Jean-Denis Greze, Town builds workplace AI assistants that integrate with core tools like email and calendars to support automated workflows and multi-agent collaboration.
Town announced Monday that it has raised $108 million in a new round of funding led by Forerunner Ventures and Menlo Ventures. Andreessen Horowitz, Serena Ventures and First Round Capital also participated. The round brings the company’s total funding to at least $160 million, following a $55 million funding round in June. The company said it had reached $1 million in revenue within weeks of launching.
What Town's digital assistants do
Town's app is aimed at businesses and offers each employee a personal AI assistant, called Townie. The digital assistant connects to tools like email, calendars and other key work systems.
These assistants can communicate with each other, share approved information, and collaborate with customers and external partners. Along with the new funding, the company introduced a shared workflow feature that automatically updates assistants with new business data.
