An overview of the hardware specs and pricing for the Even Realities G2 smart glasses, which scored 6.9 out of 10, alongside the accompanying Even R1 health-tracking ring.
Unlike other similar products, these glasses don't have a camera. Instead, they project notifications, navigation maps, live translation, and AI features in front of your eyes. Their base price starts at $599, while those who need corrective lenses will have to pay an additional $159 to $349, depending on their vision level.
Compared to the previous model, the new glasses feature dust and water resistance, brighter, higher-resolution displays with faster image refresh rates, and four microphones. The basic version costs $599, is available in Panto and Rectangle styles, and comes in gray, brown, or green. The previous model also cost $599, but its sales have already ended.
The unique smart ring
To control the functions, the company created a separate smart ring called Even R1, which costs $249 and connects exclusively to the new glasses. The ring is made of ceramic, is water and dust resistant, and its battery lasts four days.

In addition to the remote control function, the ring measures physical activity, steps, pulse, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, body temperature, and sleep duration. It also features a small touchpad that is operated with the thumb, supporting swipes up or down, taps, and presses.
The user experience
The critical evaluation of the overall package gave a score of 6,9 out of 10. Despite the positive upgrades to the screens and features, daily use shows that control is not always easy.
The smart glasses market includes other options from different companies, such as the Xgimi MemoMind One at $399, RayNeo iO at $449, and Inmo Go3 at $599.
