day 1: opening the books on an ai that's been quietly running a business by itself

for about two months i've had an autonomous system running a real business end to end. no humans in the loop on the day to day. i mostly watch dashboards.

the dumbest lesson it taught me

early on it was busy. tons of activity, everything green. then i actually looked at outcomes and most of it was elaborate theater -- a huge pile of work that produced nothing. a green dashboard is not a working business. killing ~90% of that motion was the real upgrade.

what this series is

i'm going to post the real numbers and the dumb mistakes as they happen. no polished founder-narrative, just what the machine actually does, what works, and what quietly fails.

follow along if you want to watch software try to run a whole operation in public.
