Why We Built a Deterministic Expiry & Renewal Tracker with Next.js 16 and Zero Cloud AI

Missing a renewal date hurts.

Whether it's a vehicle insurance policy lapsing, a critical machinery maintenance contract expiring, or a business permit deadline slipping by, the fallout usually means painful fines, operational delays, or service disruptions.

Most people still track these in messy spreadsheets, calendar reminders that get ignored, or sticky notes on a desk.

When we set out to build RenewOS, we had three strict product principles:

1. Zero Cloud AI (Total Document Privacy)

Document scanning shouldn't require sending sensitive passport photos, vehicle registrations, or contracts to external cloud AI servers.

With RenewOS, document date extraction happens entirely on your own local device—your files and pixels never leave your browser.

2. Multi-Channel Escalation That Can't Be Ignored

A single email buried in a promotions folder is a reminder that fails.

RenewOS delivers timely alerts through the channels people actually check: in-app notifications, transactional email, SMS, and direct WhatsApp alerts. If an item actually expires, our escalation ladder ensures you're notified until you take action.

3. Built for Both Personal & Operations

From family passports and appliance warranties to company vehicle fleets, equipment AMCs, and facility branch permits—everything lives in one calm, unified dashboard.

We just published our operational compliance playbooks and launched the web app at RenewOS (renewos.in).

How do you currently keep track of critical renewal dates and document expiries? Would love to hear your thoughts!
