I'm the maker of Helicon. It is a free, MIT-licensed desktop app for Muse Code, Meta's coding agent CLI. It is unofficial and not affiliated with Meta.
Why I built it
Muse Code is good, but a terminal is a poor place to review a long agent run. I wanted my threads in one place, edits shown as diffs, and approvals one at a time. So I built a GUI that drives the muse command you already have.
What it does
- Threads from every project sit in one sidebar.
- Edits show as inline diffs where they happened.
- Approvals come one at a time.
- Workflows, side chats and SSH projects are built in.
- A usage page prices each thread at published API rates.
- It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and there is a VS Code extension.
It uses your existing muse login. There is no API key to add and no second bill.
How it is built
The desktop app uses Tauri. It talks to Muse Code over its session protocol, so there is no screen scraping.

It is young (v0.21.5) and I would like to hear what breaks. Issues and PRs are welcome.
