What introduced you to programming?

When I was young, we used to share software between my friends via giving the program's folder on a USB stick. I would always wonder how these programs being shared were made. I noticed that each folder contained a lot of files and whoever made that program had to create all these files in specific order - not thinking much of what was in them.

One day I saw my Dad, who is a linguist, was browsing CodeAcademy, I asked him what the site is for and he told me. From that point I learned the word "code" and then started Googling about it - the rest was history.
