Why “looks good” is not enough for a customer case study

A customer can approve a draft and still disagree with the way one sentence appears in a sales deck, social post, or directory listing. The problem is not another missing comment. It is that four facts have been collapsed into one vague approval: the exact wording, its current version, the reviewer’s decision, and the channels where it may appear.

A safer preflight is small: split the story into atomic claims; list the intended channels for each claim; ask the customer to approve or request changes claim by claim; invalidate approval whenever wording changes; and export only current approvals for the selected channel.

For example, “Northstar reduced onboarding from five days to two” can be approved for a website case study but held back from social. If the agency later changes “two” to “one,” the old approval must not travel with the new sentence.

PublishPact turns that preflight into a private workspace with version-bound decisions and channel-specific export. It is designed for small B2B agencies and consultancies preparing a customer story. The free checklist is at https://publishpact.arelvia-studio.com/checklist and the one-time workspace is USD 20.
