Exciting Open Source Journey! πŸš€

Swags image

Thrilled to share the news of my first official confirmation, a testament to the time and energy invested in pursuing my goals.

Journey Kickoff:

The journey began with the goal of participating in Hacktoberfest and earning my first swag. However, I later discovered that instead of physical swag, they now plant a tree in the name of individual contributorsβ€”a truly commendable initiative. Currently, a tree has been planted in my name, and you can explore its benefits in the attached certificate.

Hacktoberfest Victories:

During Hacktoberfest, I learned about the Hacksquad, Quine, and Reflex competitions and decided to participate while continuing my contributions to open source. This led to several victories:

  • First rank in the AI category of the Reflex Competition. Check out the details here.
  • Hacksquad 2023: 43rd rank among 2000+ teams. Explore our team's profile here.
  • 2x runner-up in Quine's Gen AI themed competition. Review the quests here and here.

Additional Victories:

Additional victories included receiving swags for contributions to open source repositories/organizations such as Cloudinary, DocsGPT, HyperSwitch, Quine's Hacktoberfest competition, Odigos, Amplication, and Interledger.

How to get skilled so that someone even see your project and also feel good about your project? How to be consistent on a project and also learn a tech stack?

Its complicated and simple at the same time.

1) First find the unique idea for the project which people would like to see or would like to try it.
2) For each different developer, Consistency comes by individuals motivation. It may be idea of the project or the people with they are collaborating.
3) Well one strategy worked for me is to have a group of friends which has same goal. If you are doing something alone than after some interval of time you need to take the motivational doze, but in group you don't.

Hopefully my response may help you.
