I always get into confusion, when client wants to know the budget and time for the project.

First you have to find out the micro task and it's completion time.
Suppose, If you have 100 task. Every task needs to complete 4 hour. So 100 tasks need 100*4=400 hour.
Now 400/8 = 50 days. Here 8 is working hour in a day.
So if you use 1 developer it needs 50 days/2 month. Think if you pay him $400, so it's actual development cost is $400*2=$800,
Now add your profit with this.
