Hey everyone! π
October is just around the corner, and with it comes Hacktoberfest! If you're as excited as I am and wondering how to dive into open-source this year, then I've got something special for you.
Making that first contribution can feel daunting, right? Where do you even begin? Which project should you pick? Will my code be good enough? All these questions pop up. That's exactly why I created 'Developer's Toolkit'.
What is 'Developer's Toolkit'?
Simply put: It's a collection of small, handy web tools that we developers use in our daily lives. Things like a Word Counter, JSON Formatter, URL Encoder/Decoder... the list is growing!
My idea was simple: to create a place where new developers (and experienced ones too!) can easily contribute. Each tool is a mini-project in itself, so you don't have to worry about understanding an entire complex codebase. Just pick a tool, build it, and show your magic!

Why Contribute to 'Developer's Toolkit' for Hacktoberfest? π€
1. It's Beginner-Friendly, I Promise!
We've intentionally tagged many issues with good first issue. Each issue comes with clear instructions on what needs to be done. If you know HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, then you're all set!
2. Full Mentorship Support:
I'll be actively reviewing Pull Requests myself. If you get stuck anywhere, or can't figure out how to proceed, just reach out. I'm here to help, not just to merge code. Positive feedback and guidance β that's my motto!
3. Real-World Impact:
The tools you build will actually be useful! Another developer out there might use it. How cool is that to think about?!
4. Earn Your T-Shirt!
And of course, we all want to earn that coveted Hacktoberfest T-shirt, don't we? Contributing to this project can help you reach your 4 valid PRs.
How to Get Started? Super Easy Steps! π
