Taming DDR5-4800: MT25AD1G8SLA-077E Timing Debug Notes

DDR5-4800's 600ps clock period leaves almost zero margin for error. One wrong timing config on our FPGA AI accelerator board caused 3 full days of random memory training failures and sporadic bit errors.

The Micron MT25AD1G8SLA-077E 8Gb x8 industrial DDR5 SDRAM is rated for 4800MT/s with CL=34, but most engineers only configure CL-tRCD-tRP and ignore critical hidden parameters:

✅tRFC2 must be set above 350ns for -40℃~95℃ industrial temperature range, otherwise data corruption hits at high temp
✅tFAW can't be lower than 280ns, otherwise continuous 4-row activation drops throughput by 30%
✅CA training needs 150ps extra sampling margin to avoid batch-to-batch chip mismatch
We dumped the full BOM into IC-Online, it auto-validated all timing specs against the datasheet and filtered matching low-ESR capacitors in 10 seconds. We got the DDR5 fully stable in 2 days, no more weeks of logic analyzer debugging.

Final result: 72-hour full-temperature stress test with zero errors, 37.2GB/s effective read bandwidth at 4800MT/s. No more DDR5 debug voodoo.
