On April 4th, I released my first ever app to the app store. I started my iOS dev journey early 2020. I have created many apps since then but never released one until now.
Although the app that I decided to release is nothing spectacular or 'unique', nothing matches the feeling of seeing your app get accepted onto the Apple Appstore and knowing it's out there and can be downloaded by anyone.. It felt like I won the lottery.
Notie, is a simple note taking app that you can use everyday to make quick and easy notes without any hassle. Currently Notie stores data on the users device but in the coming months I plan to implement CloudKit to allow the data to sync across all the users apple devices.
As I write this my app has been downloaded in 6 countries , has a five start rating and is used by many day to day. I am pleased with those stats and hope to see them rise in the future.
If you would like to view and download the app here is the app store link: Notie
I will be posting my indie mobile app developer journey along with tips, my project progress and other developer related content on my future posts.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Happy Coding!

Nice, good luck with this, and thanks for sharing! I'll take a look. What was the most interesting part of building the app?
Hey Andy! Thank you for the kind words. If i had to pick what was the most interesting part of building the app, I would have to say.. learning and testing code and then running the simulator to see it actually working. The best part of building the app for me was when I submitted the app to the App Store and after the anxious wait as they was reviewing the app. It got accepted first time! I have been working on updates for Notie but other work and projects come first.
That must have been anxious but exciting! Nice work :-)
