Cover Reveal! Your First Year in Code

Your First Year in Code is coming out soon, and it's been an amazing ride! 15 of the best writers in the DEV community have contributed content, we hired an excellent cover designer, and everything is coming along right on schedule.

Our final cover looks like this:

I'm honored to be working with such amazing developers and writers on this project, and beyond excited for our July publish date.

The content in this book is top-notch. Rosa will explain how to do effective code reviews. Yechiel will teach you some of the best ways to learn on the job. Ilona will talk about the ups and downs of being a woman in tech. Clifford will compare bootcamps and college degrees. And that's just the beginning. This is the book we all wish we'd had back when we were juniors, and it's soon to be yours for the low, low price of whatever you want.

If this sounds like something you'd like to read, go ahead and sign up on the prerelease page: https://leanpub.com/firstyearincode. You'll be the first to know when we go live.

Thanks for your support, everyone, and we're excited to be part of your first, second, or twentieth year in code!

Congratulations! The cover looks great and you've got some excellent writers there to tell their stories. Can't wait to see it go live next month.
