If you need less blogging system that don't focus on features that can increase your readership but let you to focus on writing posts intsead of handling configs.
[Github Pages] is just that, make a repo named <your-github-username>.github.io and enable github pages in setting and you're good to go. Write your post in markdown and it will just shown them in their sane markdown styles.
If You don't want to even setup your own git repo but write some posts occasionally dev.to might be the place.
