  • Database Resilience: Utilizing Multi-AZ deployments for Amazon RDS provides synchronous replication and automatic failover, addressing disaster recovery needs without custom scripts.

  1. Understand Decoupling and Asynchronous Processing
    In real-world distributed systems, tight coupling creates fragile pipelines. Mastering messaging services like Amazon SQS and SNS is critical. Using queues to buffer incoming requests during traffic spikes prevents downstream database bottlenecks and improves overall system reliability.
