K-Launcher Beta 3.0 Patch Notes: Batch Install Overhaul, Auto-Detection & Touch Screen Tools

  • Batch Install Expansion: The install list now includes 133 apps across browsers, game platforms, media, office, security, cloud storage, developer tools and runtimes.

  • Install Presets: Added one-click "Gaming PC", "Software development" and "School" sets.

  • Install Status Marks: Apps in the list now show whether they are installed or have an update available.

  • Update All & Bulk Uninstall: Update every app with an available update, or remove several apps together.

  • Single Admin Approval: Windows asks for administrator permission once, then all selected apps install in order.

  • Retry Failed: Failed installs can be retried with one button.

  • Automatic App Detection: Apps already installed on the PC, including portable ones, are added to the launcher automatically.

  • UI Redesign: Updated icons, rounded window corners, cards, buttons and menus. All 7 color themes are unchanged.

  • Animation Speed Setting: Choose Fast, Normal, Slow or Off. Off disables startup, window and menu animations.

  • Background Particles: Reworked with depth layers, soft glow, gentle sway and light mouse parallax.

  • Background Mode: Lower memory use while minimized or in the tray, using Windows efficiency mode and low memory priority.

  • Touch Screen Code Generator: Generates Arduino touch code for displays on ESP32, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi Pico and Arduino boards, with an automatic touch chip finder.

  • Single-File Setup: One exe with everything built in. It installs itself to AppData on first launch, creates a desktop shortcut once and removes the downloaded exe.

  • Localization: All new features are translated into all 120 supported languages.

  • Bug Fixes: Settings are now kept between updates, Steam and Epic install-by-name and library views were fixed, and several minor UI issues were resolved.
