There are a lot of moving parts with Responsive Design, but I'm getting familiar. Now, it's simply a matter of implementation and troubleshooting. Looking back on how the day began, it's amazing how struggling through each part leads to understanding and growth. Today was about that struggle, and looking back, it was worth it. In discussions with my mentor, we've discussed that while native solutions to responsive design are more performant, there are other solutions. I like to code until I have a feel for the lesson, so it feels natural.
I did find today that sometimes I wanted to talk to someone. I forgot about my rubber duckies. I'll be sure to have a morning meeting. Real devs know rubber duckies are an essential tool for troubleshooting, in that you formulate your ideas as if the rubber ducky were a colleague. It works!
