Exploring Big Tech's Genius: How They Build Scalable Services

I’m thrilled to share something I’ve been deeply curious about: how big tech companies create their groundbreaking systems and architectures. This blog series will dive into the fascinating strategies behind the services we rely on every day.

Of course, due to privacy concerns and the limited information available online, this post will share only what’s publicly known and reasonably inferred. I’m not an insider, but I’m eager to explore the circumstances and challenges that drive these innovative solutions.

For instance:

How does WhatsApp handle the colossal volume of 100 billion messages sent daily with its system architecture?
How does Netflix seamlessly stream high-quality video to millions of viewers at the same time?

These are just a couple of examples of the exciting questions I want to unpack.

I’m aiming to make this a weekly series, so stay tuned as we explore the engineering marvels of the tech giants. Let’s dive in!
