Embarking on the Daily UI 100-Day Design Challenge is an exciting way to sharpen UI/UX design skills and build an impressive portfolio. Now on Day 3, the focus intensifies on creating a hero page that captivates users and improves their experience.

A hero page, or hero section, is the prominent, visually impactful area at the top of a webpage that serves as the user's first point of interaction. Its purpose is to grab attention, convey the main message or value proposition of the website, and encourage users to explore further.

Title: Hello User (username shows up if logged in)

Dynamic CTA: Free text/books - Collecting? We find a way to get it!

Note: The word "text" scrolls through book genres, adding visual interest.

Buttons: Shop | About | Card | Contact | Pointers to new books

Why I had this design choice:

  1. Does not overwhelm user
  2. Makes use of whitespace, evens it out
  3. bold text with simple typography, making it easy to translate
  4. Simple and memorable color pallete
  5. Action oriented

Conclusion

The hero page design blends simplicity, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. By focusing on user-centric elements and clean, modern design principles, it sets a strong foundation for enhanced user experience and interaction.
