- Under data storage in the left pan click on file shares
- Click + file share and create a file share
- Give your file a global Azure name and click on create.
- After the file share is created, click on it
- Click on Connect
- Copy the script
- Go to smart search engine in Azure, search and select virtual machines.
- Select your virtual machine
- Under operations in the left pan, click on Run command
- Next, click on RunPowerShellScript
- Paste in the script you copied earlier and click Run
- Replace the PowershellScript and click on run
- Return to the file shares blade to verify the new folder and file were created.
