CREATE AND CONFIGURE AN AZURE FILE SHARE

  • Under data storage in the left pan click on file shares

  • Click + file share and create a file share

  • Give your file a global Azure name and click on create.

  • After the file share is created, click on it

  • Click on Connect

  • Copy the script

  • Go to smart search engine in Azure, search and select virtual machines.

  • Select your virtual machine

  • Under operations in the left pan, click on Run command

  • Next, click on RunPowerShellScript

  • Paste in the script you copied earlier and click Run

  • Replace the PowershellScript and click on run

  • Return to the file shares blade to verify the new folder and file were created.
