Skills/Languages

As of 2020, I am definitely more focused on improving my skills as a front-end developer. I am more comfortable writing in markdown languages such as HTML and CSS combined with JavaScript/jQuery.

Currently learning

I have gotten into Bootstrap recently to help stand up website structure quicker. My next frameworks to learn is SASS to better write stylesheets and after that point I am going to get into my very first JavaScript framework. I have tentatively singled out Vue.js as the one to learn but haven't completely ruled React out quite yet.

I would also like to know more about UX/UI Design.

Currently hacking on

Projects that I have been working on include taking designs from dribbble.com and building them using the tools available to me. This has allowed me to skip the design phase of website creation (one I've historically gotten stuck on) and getting to where I can sharpen by coding skills.

I also take time to practice programming skills using CodeWars.
