DevOps - A Quick Overview

Hello World!

DevOps is one of the buzz words in the modern IT industry. Nowadays companies are adapting to DevOps for quicker software delivery.

In this post let us see what DevOps is and what is not.

What is DevOps?

  • DevOps is the combination of two words Development and Operation

  • It is the software development strategy

  • It is the methodology that bridges the gap between development and operation side of the company

  • In other words, it is the practice of bringing agility to both development and operation team

What DevOps is not?

  • It is not Framework
  • It is not Tool
  • It is not a Technology

Hope you are clear now, DevOps is just a methodology that bridges the gap between the development and operation side of the company.
