Being a Developer Advocate: Week Two

My second week started of with some hands-on work on our new website. We had a lot of blog posts to review from a technical viewpoint. It was an excellent way to get familiar with everything test automation and the testing space in general.

Did you know there was a Era of Destruction in software testing history? Me neither 😄

I am now in charge of the blog content which is not really part of the the role of Developer Advaocate. But the long-term goal is to get to the point where our engineers and community contribute content...

Defining Short-Term Goals

Finalizing the Developer Relations Strategy will take time as we have not defined metrics which are crucial in tracking success. But I managed to define the short-term goals, which is a win!

Segmentation and Personas

Trying to do segmentation and personas is hard in an early stage startup because your customers are diverse and your product is still changing a lot it seems. We managed to come up with an early draft of that. Truly can recommend The Developer Relation Book to get some insights into what that is all about!

Heroku

Build apps, not infrastructure.

Dealing with servers, hardware, and infrastructure can take up your valuable time. Discover the benefits of Heroku, the PaaS of choice for developers since 2007.
