Hi @all,
I currently have a lot of time to learn and try new things and would like to use all that new stuff on real world appications. But I am struggling with ideas for libraries/apps that really bring value to someone.
How do you come up with ideas for such stuff?
I'm thankful for any input on this topic.
Cheers Julian

Ideas come from doing and being a part of something happening. The ancient statue of the thinker is either a person doing absolutely nothing or a person linking experiences and witnessed discoveries in their head to synthesis what to do next. The difference is the input.
You want ideas? Go on a learning adventure. Keep doing that and inspiration will come. You'll have the input.
Thanks. Yes, I also think it's best to get involved in something. Maybe code challenges or contributing in open source projects will help me out.
Yes. And believe in yourself. The story that big ideas come only from some people with a gift is a lie. The gift is within all of us.
I believe most ideas comes from problems we face or automating a task. Think about your daily routine, is there any problems you face? Remember any problem or idea given by friends or relatives? How can you automate a task in your day or at your work place? If yes go for it. Remember your necessity / idea will drive you than anything. If nothing, there might be some app which in your phone which is missing a feature or you are really excited about the background of that app. Go for it.
Remember, don't copy an idea, steal it. Stealing is an art. Steal and improvse, dont clone.
Hope this helps, thanks :)
Well most time I play games with people online and we discuss real world problems. and from there I start getting idea to project
I know it's weird way but yeah
