This Meeting Could Have Been a Single Line of Code

Let us be honest about modern corporate software engineering. We are no longer spending our days solving complex logical problems, optimizing database queries, or writing clean architecture. Instead, we are drowning in an endless cycle of daily standups, alignment syncs, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings that could have easily been a short text message or a single comment on a pull request.
The productivity of senior developers is being destroyed by non-technical management loops. We spend three hours discussing features that take twenty minutes to actually implement. This corporate overhead is driving the tech industry into a massive wave of fatigue and technical debt, while engineers are forced to write code late at night just to hit their deploys. It is time to cancel the corporate noise, trust the engineers, and let people code.
If you are sick of the useless corporate meetings and want to support the movement for raw, human-engineered code time, check out the independent developer lifestyle links in my bio. Keep your calendar empty and your source code clean.
