Hey everyone,
I’ve been noticing a really frustrating trend with Codex lately, and I wanted to check if anyone else here is facing the same issue.
Over the past few days, Codex is taking almost 30 to 35 minutes to complete a single task. What’s annoying is that it doesn’t matter if the task is complex or super simple—even for a minor bug fix or a basic script, the waiting time remains a solid half-hour.
What I’m experiencing:
Consistent Delays: Every request feels like it's stuck in a massive queue.
Size Doesn't Matter: Small, quick tasks are taking just as long as massive code generations.
Productivity Hit: It's genuinely disrupting the development workflow when you have to wait this long for a quick output.
Is there a massive server overload going on, or have they rolled out some backend updates that are causing this lag?
Drop a comment below if you are facing this too, or if you managed to find a workaround (like switching regions or changing specific settings). Would love to know if this is a widespread issue!
