For a longer Singapore stay, the stable setup is usually to separate identity from data. Keep the domestic number available for SMS verification and important calls, then use a Singapore eSIM or local SIM as the default data line. Before relying on it for work, check hotspot support, data-roaming defaults, and backup verification methods.

300M vs 500M broadband

The 300M-to-500M difference is most visible with multiple users, high-bitrate video, large downloads, NAS/cloud sync, and peak-hour headroom. If the bottleneck is a weak router, 2.4GHz WiFi, a 100M port, or poor placement, the broadband package may not be the first thing to upgrade.
