Getting Started with Live Streaming Platforms: A Developer's Journey in 2026

The intersection of technology and entertainment has created opportunities that most developers never anticipated. Three months ago, I was a backend engineer who had never touched a media server. Why I Started Looking at Streaming

Option 2: HLS for Broad Compatibility

HTTP Live Streaming works everywhere and scales easily through standard CDNs. The trade-off is latency — typically 6-30 seconds. For live events where interaction isn't critical, this is often the better choice.
