We start with the Dark Mode plugin for WordPress, which allows you to activate the night mode on the WordPress Dashboard and Frontend. It’s easy to use and free.
The first thing you need to do is install and activate the Droit Dark Mode plugin. Upon activation, you need to visit the Settings > Droit Dark Mode Setting page and check the box “Enable Frontend Darkmode”, “Enable default Dark Mode” & “Enable backend Dark Mode” option.
Don’t forget to click on the save changes button to store your settings. Your WordPress admin area and frontend will now switch to the night mode.
For instance, you just need to click the Display Settings tab to change the style of the floating switch:
You can also customize the dark mode colors using the Style in Preset Design tab:
Now, you can comfortably write and work on your website at night without straining your eyes.
