I started/continued to code in 2019
because I am a lifelong learner. 2019 is my fourth year coding professionally. During the last few years, I've come a long way. Each year, before my annual review, I started asking myself "Do I know more about x than I did last year?" The answer is an overwhelming yes!
This year I plan to venture out of my comfort zone. I started giving small lighting talks to my peers at work, and I just submitted my first talk to a local tech conference. I also am a mentor for a local university's "Women in IT Mentoring Program".
I am grateful for all of my friends and co-workers who mentor me on a daily basis.
I deserve credit for
Not giving up on my own dev journey.
I hope to see my school/work/developer/tech community
Continue be supportive of all developers. I want to see more people considering a career in tech as an option.
