Some more worth mentioning:

I'm also working on a remote job board, mainly focused on quality job listings by manual screening. Maybe it can also help to find a full-time or part-time remote job.

Thanks ♥, Awesome post

While Upwork gets a bad rap for being a melting pot of clients looking for “cheap” services, there are strategies that you can implement to position yourself as an expert and charge premium fees. In fact, some of their highest-rated developers charge as much as $60/hour.

That's likely to be the biggest drawback with freelancing platforms. They have a cap on the income you may get. As well as are hard competitive for professional growth.

Networking is way better and reliable in terms of projects you get and growth for a portfolio.

Hi Kyle. Great post.

Another one I prefer to use is AskFora.com/gethired !

I prefer to use AskFora when freelancing because it does a great job with handling the administrative aspect of freelancing including contracting and payments. One of the biggest differences between AskFora and other platforms is that AskFora can search for clients and help within your own network ie. the people you trust.

I created a searchable list on Unlist so people can find freelancers and be found as freelancers completely for free. You only need to be a member and that's it, nothing more. You have your profile and people can contact other people when the profile matches the search.
You can join here bit.ly/3ypORCo

i had a great experience of using Avatalk-digital business card, which offers you an AI persona, means even if you are not available, can answer prospect contacts' questions.
