Over the past week, we've been focused on making DevOps Open Agent more production-ready for real-world DevOps and SRE teams.
Here are the latest improvements:
✅ Force change of the default admin password on first login (and block access if it's still admin123)
✅ Export investigation reports as Markdown or PDF for easy sharing with on-call teams
✅ One-click re-run of previous investigations using the same scope and parameters
✅ Better handling of LLM failures with clearer error messages and optional fallback providers
But we're not stopping there. Here's what's next on our roadmap:
🔹 Structured audit logs (who ran which investigation, who changed integrations)
🔹 Slack & Microsoft Teams deep links that take you directly back to the investigation
🔹 Daily LLM usage budget alerts (get notified before costs exceed your configured limit)
🔹 Editable model pricing table directly from the UI (or via pricing_table.json) so cost estimates always match your environment
Our goal is simple:
Build an open-source AI platform that DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering teams can confidently run in production—not just another AI demo.
