This is a submission for the New Year, New You Portfolio Challenge Presented by Google AI
About Me
I’m Lemuel Torrefiel, a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, and AI Integration Specialist with a background in manufacturing engineering and several years of experience building data-driven systems for real-world business use cases.
My work sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and applied AI—from building automated data pipelines and executive dashboards to deploying AI-powered assistants and workflow-driven systems. Recently, my focus has shifted toward LLM integrations, AI agents, and production-ready AI backends, turning experimental models into tools that teams can actually rely on.
This portfolio represents my transition from traditional analytics into end-to-end AI systems, showcasing how data, infrastructure, and AI can work together in a clean, scalable way.
Portfolio
How I Built It
This portfolio is a revision of my existing personal website, which I used as the base model rather than starting from scratch.
To accelerate the redesign, I used Google Antigravity and prompted it to revise the aesthetics and overall layout into a more developer-style portfolio—cleaner structure, clearer project presentation, and a stronger technical identity. The visual and structural improvements were generated and refined within a few minutes, allowing me to focus on polishing content and deployment instead of redesigning from zero.
For deployment, I again leveraged Google Antigravity to generate a Shell script that automates the build and deployment process to Google Cloud Run. This made the deployment reproducible, fast, and aligned with real-world CI/CD practices, rather than a one-off manual setup.
The end result is a cloud-native portfolio that reflects how I actually build and ship projects: fast iteration, AI-assisted development, and production-ready deployment.
What I'm Most Proud Of
What I’m most proud of is building a portfolio that reflects how I actually work in production:
Deploying AI-backed services instead of static demos
Designing systems that combine data pipelines, APIs, and LLMs
Bridging analytics, engineering, and AI into a single workflow
Rather than showcasing isolated experiments, this portfolio demonstrates my ability to design, build, and deploy complete AI-powered systems—from data ingestion to user-facing applications.

Hi Lemuel, I think your portfolio looks great and I really liked the effects. Mind if I give you some quick feedback? You should check the performance, especially the background effects on the main screen. They are quite heavy and slow down the loading of the entire site. I usually use PageSpeed Insights for insights.
